changes...

They're changing already. The wing tips on each of the chicks are now developing tiny white feathers, their necks are getting longer and they have tiny little combs beginning on their fuzzy heads.

We're soon moving them to a large circular pen, with 2 heat lamps, as their wood box is beginning to get a little tight.

Yummy, that looks like one mighty fine chicken wing.

Great close up shots of the chicks. How many chicks do you have and what breed are they?

ooohhhh, I just love 'em! I just want to come and cuddle with them all! But, to tell you the truth, they really don't look good enough to eat. (does that help their life expectancy to get any longer?)

Yeaaah - they made it through. You seemed concerned on your blog about getting them.

I've never seen chicks at that stage--how cool. Very adorable.
